In 1970, a Chicago based company sponsored a contest for students to raise environmental awareness.  The contest was won by Gary Anderson, a 23-year old college student, whose entry was the image of the chasing arrows, known today as the universal recycling symbol.  Forty-one years later, that symbol is easity recognized as the benchmark of environmental awareness.

Increasingly, consumers are demonstrating their knowledge of environmental challenges that face our planet.  In response, they want to invest their money with companies who share their passion for keeping our air, land and water clean.

Print is still a prominent way for corporations to communicate green initiatives with their customers on items such as, invoices, billing statements, insurance documents, envelopes, letterhead and more.  Many of these companies want to show their green commitment to a growing population of consumers.

Using Envirographic 100 by BPM provides companies with the best option to share their commitment to the environment with the universally recognized recycling symbol that is understood worldwide.
